Last year I turned 44.

Not so special for you maybe, but for me, it was a birthday with a promise.

If you translate 4 to Dutch, you get ‘vier’ and if you get two of them, you get ‘vieren’ which translates to celebrating. So I couldn’t let this one pass…

The Big Project

I planned a big shoot with 4 models. On my birthday. It would be epic and memorable.

Sadly enough, only one of the 4 came through. The rest all cancelled last minute, which is becoming a painful trend, but that’s a story for another time.

Safe to say I had to switch a few things around and come up with some new ideas. The brown paper bags have been sitting in my closet for quite some time, so I decided to throw a party for 2. A perfect birthday, filled with birthday activities and a beautiful model.

I’m still very grateful that she didn’t quit on me.
