Aaaah, weekend. A time for relaxation and processing the workweek that has just ended. Drinking & chilling. Kids are off skiing, so nothing to do but enjoying life… Well, not if you plan to do a photo project. My weekends are filled with planning models, location hunting, designing cards, updating and finetuning the website, talking to people about ideas and trying to organize all of this. I’m not complaining, just stating facts. Apparently I’m in need of a presskit if I want to do this thing the way I want to.

WTF is a presskit? Let me enlighten you. Looks like I will need to write and produce:

• Projectdescription (PDF)

• Artist statement

• Biography (short and long)

• Pictures in high and low resolution

• Technical rider

• Behind the scenes material

• Exhibition planning

• Press articles/reviews

• Contactinformation

• Links

• Modelinfo & call to action

• Sponsoring / investorinfo

• Logo & brandingmaterial

And then I’m not even talking about the search for a fitting crowdfunding platform.

Well, let me update you on the current state.

Project Model Invitation Cards

One of the first things that I created this weekend are these cards. I have them both in physical & digital form to invite models to participate in my project.

I had to figure out a way to be able to give this to people I know AND people I meet in a way that they are not freaked out when I hand them a copy. I don’t want to be the creeper that’s grooming the streets for girls for no reason. I’m a creeper with a mission!:-D

Warm call to action to all my friends, family and supporters

If you feel like participating in ANY way, just let me know. This can be:

• As a model. Let me know if you want to be in a picture as a main character or if you consider being an extra. (Need loads of those)
• As a collaborator. Whether you want to help me with ideas or you want to help me find locations, prepare scenes,…
• As a supporter. You can preorder the book or just toss me some money. If it’s enough, I’ll consider doing a little dance on your behalf.
